Chris and Camille Bently own the Glenkindie Estate. The American couple purchased the estate in 2022 and have since invested in restoring the buildings and carrying out nature-focused projects.

The Bentlys are known for their support of animal rights and patronage of the arts. They plan to turn the estate into a semi-wilderness to protect dwindling species and have banned shooting and trapping.
